What Is GetResponse?
GetResponse:
GetResponse is an email marketing platform,
but it's more accurately described as an all-in-one marketing solution. Its
features set extends far beyond email, offering an excess of tools to build and
engage with your audience across various marketing channels.
The company is best known for its email marketing
features. Companies can use integrated marketing tools, landing pages,
autoresponders, automated messaging, and analytics to curate GetResponse’s
email marketing capabilities to meet whatever goals they have.
You can utilize GetResponse's drag-and-drop
builder to create landing pages, signup forms, and popups, fostering contacts
and expanding your list. Manage your list effectively using GetResponse's
contact management and segmentation tools. Nurture new subscribers with
visually appealing, AI-powered email newsletters, autoresponders, SMS, web push
notifications, live chat, and more. Automation is simplified with the ability
to create visual workflows and sales funnels.
When contacts are ready to convert, leverage
automatic, personalized product recommendations, promo codes, and abandoned
cart reminders. Monitor your performance through comprehensive digital
marketing reports and analytics. Optimize campaigns with A/B testing and
experimentation, all from a single platform, no integrations required.
What else?
As if that weren't sufficient, GetResponse
continually adds new features. Their recently launched AI email generator
and AI campaign generator has elevated the platform to unprecedented
heights.
Now, let’s jump to the next part of GetResponse Review 2024.
What are GetResponse Features?
GetResponse Features:
As we’ve just discussed, GetResponse is a
very versatile platform that comes with a lot of various useful features, such
as:
Customizable dashboard
The first thing we noticed when we signed up for GetResponse was the dashboard. Unlike most other email marketing platforms, the design isn’t fixed. It’s completely customizable, which is honestly pretty cool.
It’s made up of multiple widgets shaped like cards
lined up next to each other. Each widget shows you different data/interaction
options. You can choose what widgets you want to appear on your dashboard and
in what order. Great!
Email marketing
With an intuitive drag-and-drop email creator tool,
marketers of all skill levels can create unique email designs from scratch or
start with one of GetResponse’s free templates and customize it however
you want. Your marketing team can use the GetResponse email creation
tools to create adjustable sections, develop personalized web fonts, and even
save layouts for future use. You can also use basic “blocks” for images,
texts, videos, buttons, and other visual elements to catch readers’ attention.
Autoresponders
Email autoresponder is an automated message sent to
a subscriber immediately at specific times or after a particular event has
taken place. These automated email sequences can maximize conversion rates and
can be a simple yet effective tool in your email marketing strategy. With GetResponse,
you can set up predetermined delivery times and schedules, analyze their
effectiveness, and adjust them as needed.
Marketing Automation
GetResponse includes a drag-and-drop builder
to create visual automation workflows. This feature allows you to customize
your subscribers' experience using a combination of conditions, actions, and
filters.
Workflows start with a Condition element that needs
to be met to trigger an automation sequence, such as a user clicks on a link,
or opens an email. Conditions are followed by an Action element such as waiting
a set amount of time, or moving a subscriber to a new workflow and more.
Automation workflows can be built by dragging
elements to the workflow area and linking points to connect the sequence. Each
element can be further customized by clicking and selecting the Properties tab.
If you don't want to build your automation workflows
from scratch, you can use one of GetResponse's pre-designed templates.
These templates are designed to solve different business objectives, such as
lead qualifying, engagement, customer retention, and sales, promotions. While
all plans include workflows and tags, additional features such as scoring,
abandoned carts, web event tracking, and advanced segmentation are limited to
Pro Plan users and above.
A/B Testing
GetResponse has an email testing tool that
you can use to optimize your subject lines. Which is one of the best features
in any email marketing platform.
Website builder
GetResponse website builder is their newest
addition to the platform. You build a website from templates or with their AI
powered builder. With the AI powered builder, you answer a few questions
and GetResponse will automatically generate a personalized website.
Other website building options include:
Widgets (forms, chat boxes, price tables, etc.)
Website colors and themes
Adding logos and images
Nurture your email lists with GetResponse’s
streamlined list building and segmentation tools. Users can upload existing lists,
organize contacts into customizable subgroups, create custom fields designed to
capture validated contact data, send personalized emails targeted to specific
buyer needs, and more. GetResponse also integrates with popular CRM
systems—like Salesforce, Dynamics 365, HubSpot, Zendesk, Zoho, and others—and
keep your contacts up-to-date and consistent across platforms.
Landing pages
Build landing pages with a drag and drop editor. GetResponse’s
landing page editor can add forms, videos. The pages are hosted by
GetResponse, so you don’t need separate hosting.
Segmentation
GetResponse’s platform includes segmentation
tools that you can use to create segments of customers using the data that’s
stored in the system. Using segments is a best practice to increase the
relevancy of your emails, and save cost by reducing send volume. You can define
the segment conditions to include or exclude portions of your list.
Conversion funnels
GetResponse allows you to promote, sell, and
deliver your products online. You can create your own online store and accept
payments using GetResponse. The Sales Funnel Builder allows you to
customize each stage your customers take through the sales process.
Live Chats
GetResponse allows you to add a live chat
window to your landing pages, and communicate with page visitors in real time.
Web push notifications
Paid ads
GetResponse includes a Social Ads Creator app that allows you to create successful Facebook campaigns. Also, you can build Google Ads inside your GetResponse account by adding your Google Ads account, creating a target audience, and setting your budget.

one of the few email marketing platforms that have webinars included.

set, serving as a true all-in-one (AIO) platform. It provides everything
necessary to run complete marketing campaigns in a single location, eliminating
the need to piece together various tools and software.
·
User-Friendly Interface:
Notably beginner-friendly, GetResponse's
intuitive design simplifies tasks, from building websites and landing pages to
crafting emails and automation sequences.
·

The addition of a customizable dashboard enhances
the user experience, a thoughtful detail often lacking in competitor platforms.
·
Excellent
Deliverability:
GetResponse claims an impressive 99%+
deliverability rate, attributing this to a strong sender reputation.
GetResponse Cons:
Limited Flexibility in Website & Landing Page
Builder:
While functional, GetResponse's website and
landing page editors lack the flexibility found in dedicated builders like Leadpages,
Landingi, Unbounce, or true CMS solutions like WordPress.
Potential Cost Increase:
Although affordable for users with smaller lists, GetResponse
becomes relatively expensive as your contact list grows. For instance,
exceeding 100,000 contacts may lead to a monthly cost of over $400, even on the
lowest-priced plan.
Tiered Pricing for Advanced Features:
More advanced features are reserved for higher-tier
plans, creating a significant price jump from the Email Marketing plan to the
